Start your visit with a trip to Galliford’s at Southwick’s Zoo where The Daniels Farmstead is hosting a unique cultural workshop, The Art of Pysanky. Participants can learn the traditional Ukrainian art of decorating eggs. Pysanky are colorful and intricate eggs created using a wax resist. This 3 hour beginner class will be lead by a talented local artist and all participants will explore the fascinating history and symbolism behind this folk art and create their own egg to take home.
While in the area, stop by the Milford Irish Round Tower. This eye-catching tower is an unexpected sight in the United States. Round towers were common in medieval Ireland but not so much 19th century America. This tower pays tribute to the Irish settlers in the town of Milford.

DAY 2:
Enjoy a relaxing morning with a Cappuccino or “Augustus Gloop” Hot Chocolate and a delicious muffin at Birchwood Bakery in Franklin.
Take a stroll through the Franklin Cultural District. Visit the Horace Mann statue, the first great American advocate of public education. Walk around the district in search of the ladybug statues. 2024 represents the 50-year anniversary of a group of Frankin 2nd graders, who were learning about the law making process, petitioned the State House to adopt the ladybug as the official insect of Massachusetts.
Before the show, have a delicious dinner at Raillery Public House in Franklin. Try their delicious take on a Crab Rangoon pizza with cream cheese crab blend, chopped scallions and sweet chili drizzle.

DAY 3:
Before heading out of town, head over the Hopkinton Center for the Arts Sunday morning Jazz where you can vibe to smooth tunes or maybe even hop on stage to show off your skills.
