College Tour and Explore

3 days / 2 nights

DAY 1:

  • It’s the perfect time of year for rising seniors to visit college campuses. Not only does MetroWest Boston offer some great colleges in the region, but it is also conveniently located between college communities in Worcester and Boston.  Checking out the area from far away?  Try flying into Worcester Regional Airport – offering direct flights to New York and Florida as well as connections to numerous domestic and international destinations!  With an average daily hotel rate of $142, you can make your college tour home base in MetroWest Boston!  Try the Hyatt Place Marlborough / Apex Center as a central location!  They offer comfortable rooms, a pool and onsite dining!
  • Set up a tour at Framingham State University located in the heart of bustling Framingham. Explore their state-of-the-art facilities and soak up the lively student scene.
  • After your tour, grab some delicious, authentic Brazilian rodizio at Framingham Station Brazilian Steakhouse. Revel in the gauchos that elegantly circulate the dining room presenting a continuous selection of churrasco delights from picanha to ribs, lamb, pork, chicken and sausages.

  • Take your next tour at Dean College. Nestled in suburban Franklin, Dean College offers small class sizes and personalized attention to their strong emphasis on individualized learning.  Located on top of the Franklin Cultural District, take a leisurely walk to the Franklin Public library (the first public library in America) to see Ben Franklin’s books and explore the various pieces of art that are dotted throughout the district!
  • When the tour wraps up, enjoy a delectable dinner at Prezo Grille & Bar in Milford. Offering something for everyone, the chicken parmesan and the tortellini Matthew are fan favorites!
  • Add a nighttime activity such as the Silver Anniversary Triumph performed by the Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra. Experience the powerful and dramatic Carmina Burana by Carl Orff, a stunning choral and orchestral masterpiece that explores the themes of fate, fortune, and the pleasures of life.
