About Us Visitors Guide Tour Operators Meeting/Events

Looking to surprise your loved ones with something more thoughtful than the usual socks for Dad or scarf for Grandma? MetroWest Massachusetts is brimming with creativity and craftsmanship, home to an array of talented makers and artisans. We’ve explored the region to bring you a curated list of exceptional gift shops offering one-of-a-kind, locally-made treasures for everyone on your list. This year, make your holiday shopping memorable with truly unique finds from these standout shops:

Boston Honey Company (Holliston, MA) is much more than an apiary—they use their own honey to make luscious bath products and gorgeous beeswax candles in whimsical shapes that are perfect for those “I don’t need anything” folks on your list.

Serendipity (Hudson, MA) has an entire shop full of whimsical, handcrafted gifts by the best local artisans—from jewelry to wall art and pottery to handbags.

H Brandt Jewelers (Natick, MA) carries sparkles of every variety, plus has master jewelers on staff to design custom pieces for your loved one.

Helen’s Handbags (Natick, MA) creates one-of-a-kind T-shirt blankets, pillows, and handbags, all out of loved ones’ clothing, making memories that you will treasure forever.

Five Crows (Natick, MA) is a gallery that represents 120 local and regional artisans showcasing jewelry, pottery, paintings and prints, designer clothing, handbags, children’s items, quilts, fiber arts, glass, and much more, from the eclectic to the zany to the charming and traditional.

Elsie Kaye Glassworks (Westborough, MA) not only showcases beautiful home décor, jewelry, bath products, pottery, and other gifts, many by local craftspeople, but also flameworking and jewelry-making workshops for you to make your own gift for someone special.

The Boroughs Collective (Westborough, MA) is a French-style boutique offering European, American, and Asian antiques and hand-made artifacts by local artists. Their tagline is “Unique things for unique people,” which maybe tells you why we love them. Local products include clothing, fiber arts, jewelry, home décor, fine art, woodworking, stained glass, decoupage, and more.

Little Man Originals (Whitinsville, MA) sells a collection of textile handbags, accessories, and self-care products that are entirely handmade in Massachusetts.

The Little Shop of Olive Oils (Franklin, MA) is a specialty olive oil store with oil, spice, and everything nice…locally sourced and from around the world.

Garden Shop at Garden in the Woods (Framingham, MA) provides amazing gifts for the gardening and outdoor enthusiast. And while the garden is closed for the season, the shop is open for holiday shopping Thursday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. (closed the week of Thanksgiving) until December 21st.

CRAFTWORKS (Northborough, MA) is a gift and yarn shop that showcases not only fiber arts but handcrafted goods from over 100 juried artists, including home décor, fashion & accessories, pottery, woodcrafts, glass, toys, and more. (This year, they’re brand new to our list!)

Goodnow Farms Chocolate (Sudbury, MA) offers artisanal single-origin chocolate made right on-site. This shop is a little different—you can only buy from them if you do a factory tour, which they are hosting several of in December. If you can’t make it, their products are also available locally at Duck Soup in Sudbury or Mullhay’s in Concord.

The Clever Hand (Wellesley, MA) is a cooperative gallery selling fine crafts by New England artists, including jewelry, wearable and functional art, wall art, and more. The gallery is staffed by member artists, so go in to speak to the creators!

Uni-T (Natick, MA) views T-shirts as canvases for endless creativity and self-expression. Stop in to see their beautifully crafted shirts that convey a world of meaning in the design. They also carry jewelry, art, cards, and gifts.
