Brewery, Distillery, and Winery, Oh My!

2 days / 1 night

DAY 1:

  • Start your tour of our region’s amazing breweries by stopping at Lost Shoe Brewing in Marlborough to try their Lost Shoe Light Lager or French Hill Fizz, one of their hard sodas. They have grab and go so be sure to take your favorites home with you too!
  • Head down Route 495 to Milford to Lake Louise where you can get outside and partake in some disc golf at the first disc golf park in Massachusetts.
  • Afterwards, head on over to CraftRoots Brewing in Milford. Locally sourced and passionate about field-to-glass, CraftRoots also donates proceeds from their brewery to local charities.  While the on tap selections rotate, we recommend trying a sample rack of 4 different pours!
  • Wrap up today’s tour down at 67 Degrees Brewing’s beer garden at the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets. While you’re there, be sure to stop into one of your favorite brands outlet stores or grab some grub at one of their restaurants.
  • After a busy day sampling the local brews, try out the brand new Home2Suites in nearby Franklin. This new facility boasts streaming TV, indoor swimming pool, in room kitchen and free hot breakfast!

DAY 2:

  • Learn what it means to be a true “grain-to-glass” distillery by taking a distillery tour and tasting at GlenPharmer. Stay to enjoy creative, chef inspired cuisine that embraces the intersection of fine food and craft spirits.  Try to get one of the cozy seats under the covered bridge!
  • Once satiated, wander the shops of the Franklin Cultural District. Pick up a map of the Ladybug Trail and try to find all the ladybug sculptures in town…there are over 2 dozen!
  • Afterwards, visit the only winery in MetroWest. With a love for traditional Italian winemaking, La Cantina offers a large selection of wines and a tasting menu.  They also have small plates including charcuterie and pizza.
